HIV SUPPORT
WINS in collaboration with other NGOs, government functionaries, activists initiated intensive efforts to mainstream HIV support through Public Health facilities. This process involved sensitization of important stakeholders about training health-care providers, importance of community engagement, identification of strengths and gaps in the treatment facilities offered to HIV positive women and children. WINS has been a torchbearer in its efforts to establish sound reporting and documentation to facilitate replication and scale up of various programs.
